Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
1. About QuickConnekt
QuickConnekt is an online platform that connects customers with independent service providers for the purpose of discovering, requesting, booking and paying for services.
QuickConnekt may provide the technology, communication, booking, payment and account-management facilities used by customers and service providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, QuickConnekt does not itself provide the services listed by independent service providers on the platform.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of QuickConnekt, including customers, service providers and other persons accessing or using the platform.
By registering for an account or using QuickConnekt, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions and the QuickConnekt Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you should not create an account or use the QuickConnekt platform.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
Users are responsible for providing accurate, current and complete information when creating and maintaining an account.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activities carried out through your account, subject to applicable law.
QuickConnekt may require additional information or verification where reasonably necessary for account security, payment processing, compliance, fraud prevention or platform operations.
4. Customer Use of QuickConnekt
Customers may use QuickConnekt to browse available services and submit booking requests to service providers.
Customers agree to:
- provide accurate booking information;
- select appropriate dates and times;
- communicate respectfully with service providers;
- attend or make themselves available for confirmed bookings;
- make required payments through the available QuickConnekt payment process; and
- use the platform only for lawful purposes.
Additional customer requirements may be contained in the Customer Rules.
5. Service Providers
Service providers use QuickConnekt to advertise and offer their own services to customers.
Service providers are responsible for ensuring that information displayed on their profiles and service listings is accurate and up to date.
Service providers are responsible for the actual delivery, quality, safety and legality of the services they provide, subject to applicable law and the terms of the particular booking.
Service providers must comply with the Provider Rules and all applicable laws and regulations relevant to their services.
6. Bookings
A booking request submitted through QuickConnekt does not necessarily mean that the booking has been accepted by the service provider.
A booking becomes subject to the applicable booking status and confirmation process displayed through the platform.
Customers and service providers must comply with the agreed booking date, time, service and other applicable booking details.
Where QuickConnekt provides a postponement or rebooking process, users must follow the process provided through the platform.
7. Payments
Where card payment is available, payments may be processed through QuickConnekt's appointed payment service provider.
QuickConnekt may receive customer payments before a service is completed. Depending on the applicable booking and payment rules, amounts due to a service provider may be retained and released only after the relevant completion and confirmation requirements have been satisfied.
A payment being successfully processed does not by itself mean that the underlying service has been completed.
8. Provider Subscription and Commission Plans
8.1 Subscription Provider Plan
Service providers who select the subscription plan may be required to pay the applicable monthly subscription fee displayed during registration or within their account.
The current subscription structure may include a monthly subscription of R79, subject to change in accordance with these Terms and applicable notice requirements.
The subscription plan may also be subject to applicable booking commission rules displayed by QuickConnekt.
8.2 Commission Provider Plan
Service providers who select the commission plan do not pay the applicable monthly subscription fee but may be charged the applicable QuickConnekt commission on qualifying transactions.
The commission percentage applicable to a provider will be displayed to that provider before or during registration and may be updated in accordance with QuickConnekt's applicable commercial terms.
Payment-processing charges imposed by the applicable payment provider may be separate from QuickConnekt's commission.
9. Provider Payouts
QuickConnekt may defer payment to a service provider until the requirements for payout have been satisfied.
These requirements may include completion of the service and customer confirmation, or the expiry of an applicable customer response period where the platform's protection process permits payout to proceed.
QuickConnekt may retain booking, payment and payout records necessary to administer transactions, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations and maintain financial records.
10. Cancellations, Refunds and Disputes
Cancellations, refunds, service issues and booking disputes are handled according to the applicable QuickConnekt cancellation and refund procedures.
Customers should report problems through the support or dispute process provided by QuickConnekt as soon as reasonably possible.
Service providers must cooperate with reasonable investigations into booking, payment or service disputes.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable South African law.
11. Service Quality and Provider Responsibility
Service providers are responsible for delivering their advertised services in accordance with applicable laws, professional requirements, safety requirements and the terms of the relevant booking.
QuickConnekt may take reasonable platform measures where a provider repeatedly fails to meet platform requirements, violates these Terms, receives substantiated complaints, or otherwise creates a material risk to customers or the platform.
12. User Content
Users may be permitted to upload information, descriptions, photographs and other content to QuickConnekt.
Users are responsible for ensuring that content they submit is accurate, lawful and does not infringe another person's rights.
By submitting content for display on QuickConnekt, you grant QuickConnekt the permission reasonably necessary to host, display, reproduce and use that content for operating and promoting the platform, subject to applicable law.
13. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not use QuickConnekt to:
- commit or facilitate unlawful activity;
- provide false or misleading information;
- impersonate another person or business;
- fraudulently obtain payments, bookings or account access;
- interfere with the operation or security of the platform;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account or system;
- upload unlawful or infringing material;
- harass, threaten or abuse another user; or
- use QuickConnekt in a manner that could reasonably damage the platform or other users.
14. Account Suspension and Termination
QuickConnekt may suspend, restrict or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, unlawful activity, serious misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, security concerns or other legitimate platform-protection reasons.
Where appropriate and legally required, QuickConnekt may provide notice or an opportunity for the affected user to respond.
Account termination does not automatically cancel or erase financial, booking, legal or other records that QuickConnekt is required or entitled to retain.
15. Privacy and Personal Information
QuickConnekt processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
Users should review the Privacy Policy before using the platform.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, QuickConnekt and its licensors retain rights in the QuickConnekt platform, branding, software, design, logos, text and other platform materials.
Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or commercially exploit QuickConnekt materials except where permitted by law or expressly authorised by QuickConnekt.
17. Platform Availability
QuickConnekt will seek to maintain the availability and functionality of the platform but does not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or free from technical problems.
Maintenance, updates, technical failures, security incidents, telecommunications problems and circumstances outside QuickConnekt's reasonable control may affect platform availability.
18. Third-Party Services
QuickConnekt may use third-party providers for services such as payment processing, hosting, communications, authentication and other technical functions.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies. QuickConnekt is not responsible for matters outside its reasonable control relating to independent third-party services.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, QuickConnekt will not be responsible for losses arising from matters outside its reasonable control or from the independent acts or omissions of users or service providers.
QuickConnekt does not guarantee the quality, suitability, availability or outcome of a service provided by an independent service provider.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or would deprive a consumer of a right that cannot legally be excluded.
20. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, a user may be responsible for losses, claims, costs or reasonable expenses arising from the user's unlawful conduct, breach of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or misuse of the platform.
21. Changes to These Terms
QuickConnekt may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, business operations, legal requirements or other relevant circumstances.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Where required by law, QuickConnekt will provide additional notice or obtain additional acceptance.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory rights or protections applicable to a user under South African law.
23. Complaints and Support
Users should contact QuickConnekt through the support channels provided on the platform if they have a complaint, payment issue, booking problem, account concern or other platform-related matter.
QuickConnekt may request relevant information and documentation to investigate and resolve a complaint.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or adjusted to the extent necessary where legally permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
25. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the QuickConnekt Privacy Policy and other policies expressly incorporated into them, form the basis of the agreement between the user and QuickConnekt regarding use of the platform, subject to any additional terms that apply to a particular transaction or service.
